The 2021 Hyundai Santa Cruz – Here’s What we Know so Far

Back in November, the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama announced the Santa Cruz compact utility vehicle will join the Hyundai Santa Fe, the Hyundai Sonata, and the Hyundai Elantra at the Hyundai U.S. automotive assembly plant in Montgomery in 2021.

In 2015, the Hyundai Santa Cruz was introduced as a concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Byungjin Jin, who is the president and CEO, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, stated, “Bringing the Santa Cruz to HMMA demonstrates that Hyundai Motor Company is confident our more than 3,000 Team Members are ready to build a quality crossover for the U.S. market.”

The Hyundai Santa Cruz is ideal for drivers who want a compact utility vehicle but also need the versatility of an open bed. What we hope is that this vehicle will meet the needs of a new generations of car buyers.
